If you know me, you know I LOVE outdoor weddings. There’s just something to be said about the crisp smell of fresh cut grass, the breeze playing with your hair, and the sun on your face. :) Couple that with a meaningful celebration of love, and it’s an amazing thing. And as a photographer, I personally just love the way outdoor weddings look. :)
If you’re a fan on Facebook, you might have already read that this was a special wedding, or possibly recognize the bride, Chelsey. That’s because she’s been my assistant shooter at weddings for the past 2(ish) years. :) She made the comment a couple of times that day how it was “so weird!!” to be on that side of things for once. :)
We were all relieved the rain stayed away, and altogether it was a fun day filled with lots of laughs and tears. (Shed mostly by Chelsey & the best man.) :)

Hello world! No, I haven’t disappeared or closed shop for the last 2 months… I’ve been uber busy with our kitchen remodel at home (we are soooo close!) and even better, I’ve been getting the creative juices flowing on how to give my awesome clients even more amazing photo opportunities. A lot is still in the works, but you’ll see and hear more about that in the next few weeks. :)
But to start us off, MOTHER’S DAY is right around the corner. I know, I know, it already feels like mid-april around here, but alas, it’s still only march!
This year I wanted to get an extra -early start on these amazing mini sessions that moms just LOVE. (Hint, hint dad!) And even better this year, we’ve decided to include 3 HIGH RESOLUTION IMAGES with the session fee. Yup. You read right.
Now I know you might be thinking that doesn’t really fit with our studio model of creating custom, high end products for our clients, but we wanted to offer something new, and will be here to educate you on which outside vendors are best for printing your images. (And sorry to tell you, it’s not wal-mart, target, or walgreens) And as always, we’re more than happy to create one of kind artwork for you.
So here’s the details:
- Saturday May 12th; 8-10:30 am

- $249 session fee (due at time of booking) for 20 minute session and 3 digital files.
- only 8 slots available, and will be booked on a first come, first serve basis.
- limit 6 persons, immediate family (mom and kid(s) only) (sorry dad, you’re next!)
- viewing & ordering appointment will take place 7-10 days later in studio.
